Reflections & Distortions
Often times when I do a post people say that they think I will make quilts about my photos. I rarely do. Though I can see some connections with the window distortions that certainly can can be related to the softened rectangle shapes I love to work with. In March I walked downtown to meet friends at the suspended sculpture for the TED Talks Conference. It was a stellar day and great reflections were everywhere. The shapes they make also remind me of current day graffiti style lettering.
And the downtown sculpture!! Just for the TED event. A famous woman textile sculptress!
ISN'T SHE SPECTACULAR!!! Very wonderful & glorious!
