WALLS & A FLOOR: Granville Island & The Blue Barge in False Creek

I went to visit the Blue Barge, now to be a residency teaching zone in the wake of Al Neil & Carol Itter-- two BC artists of the 70s & 80s.

I think this barge was restored by Jeremy Borsos [& another] before it went from "living-on-barge" to a "teaching-on-barge". That was a long process & probably I don't have all my facts/ducks in a row/straight.

NO matter.
This is a visual post not an historical post.

WALLS on Granville Island.   This is from my favorite alley.

And here's another Granville Island zone.  I track this alley!!   Delicious every time!!

And a few G.I. pillars [and thank heavens finally for a First Nations presence on the Island!]

Walls on the Barge:

That's it for now.
